Am i the only one who would sooner have a 15-20 goal striker than getting Lukas back on loan?

Don't get me wrong he's a good lad who done well for us last year, but i just cant see him getting that many goals at League One level.

Agreed Spud. I'd prefer a goalscorer to Lucas.

I disagree. I think Lukas wasn't fit enough last year. If he get's the fitness I'd expect him to bag 15 goals.

Shouldn't we be after a right winger rather than a left winger?

No, Zaaboub is ridiculously over rated! compare Roberts and Zaaboub since Zaaboub sealed his 18 moth contract, Roberts has been by far the better player, and has looked in alot better shape than Zaaboub in pre season as well. Zaaboub is french and lazy, and needs a kick up the arse

Like, who and from where....you cant just get a 15-20 goal striker.

Also, Lukas is a PREMIERSHIP player....so effectivly he should be more than good enough for league one. He did alright for us despite only being 16 at the time.

We've got new Investors we should be able to sign a quality striker....chuckle chuckle.

A Premiership player that probably wont play for them in the Premier League for a good couple of seasons.

so in summary, half the people on this thread are saying lucas isnt good enough for league 1, the other half are saying he wont come here because everton will need him in their first team.

brilliant.

How much fun would it be if we all agreed.

I think both sides are right.

I think the problem with getting Lucas back would be that it could potentially mask a problem.  Would be good move if we also get someone of decent calibre on a permanent deal, but if we use it to plug the gap then it could come back to bite us - imagine if they call him back.

Lukas would be a great signing. His goal at Walsall last season was something special.

Did he not? Championship side Colchester seem quite happy to have signed him!

For us Yeates was terrible, but to keep OST happy I'll replace him with Jamie Slabber - now he was gash.

To be fair Yeates barely played on loan and made a decent enough debut in his first game.

His move is probably more memorable for the whole farce surrounding his loan move.  It was typical of King at the time and they even fell out and the Yeates was shipped back to the Yids sharpish.
