Looks like we may here something one way or another....

"According to todays Adver Paul Sturrock is quoted as saying "We are still in that wait and see mode at the moment (about the new investors) but we are very hopefuly things are now coming to fuition.

"I think something will take place in the next couple of days. obviously it will be a relief because it will ebnable me to know where we stand and what I can do."

"Then we will have discussions with them, whether it is the old owners or the new owners"

But it also says he has missed a couple of targets and IF he gets the green light to sign anyone he wil work very hard.

Quote from Sturrock:

Then we will have discussions with them, whether it is the old owners or the new owners.

Things have been put on the back burner, quite rightly, because we just don't know how things are going to transpire.

You don't have to read particularly closely between those lines to deduce that everything is up in the air.  The takeover might happen, or it might not.  No wonder everything has gone so quiet.

I heard last night that the club were expecting for the deal to be signed and sealed last Thursday afternoon.  Not sure why it hasn't all been announced, but Sandy Gray was expecting it to all be finalised on that day.

Yeah not doubting it's still on, just saying that they were expecting it to be finalised last week but for whatever reason it didn't happen.

Maybe sometime this week?

I do hope they're getting ready to answer a lot of questions.

Shilton Red on the adver forum was told it was going to be done and dusted by the end of last week. But then Bob Holt was confidently telling the media it was 24 hours away from being signed up 3 weeks ago. And that didn't happen either
