I just rang to get my ticket and they said anyone that has a ticket in the Kingswood will be moved to the arkells. they've only sold about 2000 home tickets and 300 or so away ones. Surely most poeple would buy tickets on the day for a friendly though?? 2000 tickets in advance is quite a lot i think, and would expect the same number again to turn up without a ticket, leading to 4000 sat in the Arkells.......could be interesting

I don't understand the apathy of some people toward this game.
It's the first real chance to see our new signings against reasonable opposition, as opposed to non league English clubs and foreign teams nobody's ever heard of.

I'm going....I like pre season mid week friendlies.....somehow better than Saturday afternoon, when the time might be better used. Its a fair test, and should give a bit of insight into some of Sturrock's old boys.

It's a Tuesday and I doubt I can be arsed.
You would have thought the club would make the tickets a fiver and try and pack the crowd in. A good performance could see those fans stay early on in the season and part with more of their cash.

the annoying thing is I paid for my ticket in advance so I didnt have to worry bout gettin there early .. and if its a bigger crowd i might end up in a shite seat ... should have left Kingswood Stand open

The Arkells holds close to 7000 so 4000 should fit in nicely. That's about the norm for a pre season friendly, so it's not a particular quirk this season. We've not had a really good pre season home game for a while, one to wet the appetite that is. The only one I ever remember really enjoying was against Chelsea in the 80's when Kenny Allen went on one of the craziest run abouts ever seen by a keeper.

MY apathy is nothing to do with the politics or anything. Its going to be a long enough season anyway without extending it by bothering with pointless friendlies.Still not looking forward to the season one little bit,in fact im dreading it which is a first for me

I'm not going tonight. I'm playing 5-a-side with the happy clappers instead.
