with no football has just gone.

THANK FUCK FOR THAT!!

Open day on Sunday, Exeter the following Saturday, then into the new season.

Is it just me, or has the close season dragged on and on and on...........?

close season is always worse when there is no Euro/WC to watch. Yeah the copa America was on, but I really couldn't be arsed with it.

Like you say, nearly out the wilderness now...

Its not as bad for me as I got back In June so not quite as long to wait!

Still though the last game I went to was September 2006 so I cannot wait to get back into it this season!

I'm dreading the new season. Mainly because it's going to hurt my bank balance and liver even more. I've decided not to go to Northampton now and I'll probably miss the City friendly as I'm in London for work.

Saturdays with no football are wank. I even miss listening to Northern away games on the radio

I'm feeling very apathetic towards the new season at the moment, haven't got a season ticket for the first time in years.

I'm playing cricket on saturdays until mid-September, so i'll see how i feel about going after that.
