And now, the end is near;
And so they face the final curtain.
My friend, Ill say it clear,

They've lived a life thats full.
They've traveled each and every highway;

Regrets, they have a few;
But then again, too few that they would mention.
They did what they had they had to do
And saw it through without exemption.
They planned each charted course;

They had their fill; their share of losing.
And now, as tears subside,
I don't find it all so amusing.
To think they did all that;
And may I say - not in a shy way,
