we know that part of the new consortium is mike diamandes and james wills.
a couple of years ago firoz kassam was well inside the top 100 rich men involved in football, and look where oxford are now. money doesn't mean a thing if it's not being invested correctly (or at all, in that case).

Do we? How's that then? Your point about Kassam is a good one though. I bloody hope he isn't part of things! And of course money can be invested poorly. I will reserve judgement on this new consortium until i know who is involved, how much they are willing to invest and what their plans are for the club. Until then i will not jump to any conclusions about them points.

we know that part of the new consortium is mike diamandes and james wills. not for certain, it's more a case of interpretation as much as anything. whatever happens in the short term, simply forgetting about bill power isn't a possibility as bennett correctly says. he owes us nothing, we owe him nothing, the board might owe him £1.2m.

How do you work out its James and not Sir Seaton or both from that article: The club said the consortium included long-time owner the Wills family, their advisor and club general manager Mike Diamandis, and a new investor.
