Good to see that Bury managed a 20% sell on for Nugent which should net them a mill+   Bury are one of those small clubs, who I respect, the money should keep them going for a while.

Yep fair play to them. I remember watching him play for them what seems like many years ago! He must have only been 16 or 17 I guess!!

Fair shout to any lower league club who gets a sell on clause bonus (youngster or not). We got lucky with the Lucas deal, but generally the old school pyramid; of the lower leagues supplying players to the top, has been broken for years.

I don't take the popular opinion that it's young foreign imports fucking us over. It's just the fact that the big clubs have proper big academies. Even if their youth players aren't as good at age 11, then they're still going to get better training. And most of them don't make it. The lower divisions are getting filled with left over premiership youngsters of varying quality. It seems that that's the way it works now.
