It is shit though itn't it? If he was a Town legend like Don Rogers fine. With all due respect to Rhys though, he is a total non-entity. I'd almost forgotten he'd ever played for us. Who will they wheel out next? Bobby 'Sexy Football' Howe?, Gary Elkins? Richard Dryden? Jason Drysdale? The list is quite litereally endless

I thought he had a prolonged period of play at one point, but wasn't he injured towards the end of the season?
On a side note. A member of my family works for Blackpool football club in an all knowing position one might add. Not that there's anything worth knowing from that neck of the woods...

What?! Really?!
So somebody coming and pumping a load of money into your club can make it more successful?! This Evans bloke must be some kind of footballing guru!
On a serious note, who thought "I know, I'll ask Rhys Evans what he thinks about it"?!!!

They might as well have gone into town and asked 'some bloke' on the street what he thought. It would have just as much relevance if not more as he might actually support STFC :?

I think they asked Rhys because a foreign millionaire took over the club he joined after he left Swindon Town. They aske dhim for his views to see what kind of impact it had, and what impact it may have on STFC.
Just a hunch like.
