rip off.

i was with them for one year and whilst the service is good paying £25pm for broadband is just wrong.

now with Sky's 16meg for £10 a month is what i call a bargain and fast as fook

As Magic said, it's a rip-off.

You can get the same service with other providers for a lot less. BT are bascially charging £10 a month for your flashy 'hub phone'.

Mixed responses then....

Ideally want wireless, so is it worth me going with someone else perhaps and just buying a wireless router?

sky give you a free wireless router worth £50 but you have to buy a wireless network card apparently. these are cheap as chips i've been told.

only downside is you have to be a sky subscriber to receive the broadband

you need a bt line for your phone anyway which is what i've got.

the broadband is not ran through the sky box but through my bt line.

our bt home hub resets itself about 3 times a day so you lose your connection for  a minute each time, other than that its been great and the speed tests show they really are 8mb.
