I have my theory test on wednesday morning, and despite the messages from every fibre of my student body, I have begun revising over the last few days, rather than leaving it until the night before.
The multiple choice I have no issues with, you can pass that with merely a modicum of common sense, its the hazard perception I can't get the swing of. I've taken 3 today from a cd rom my instructor leant me, and have failed them all, my highest score was 41 (pass mark is 44). And the last one I did, I got 25!
You can review all the clips to see what you've done right/wrong but it doesn't appear to be doing me much good. Anyone got any tips? Advice? I'm thinking I'll just keep doing them until I finally pass one, then do another and make sure it wasn't a fluke.

Short of practice there's not too much you can do - keep doing the tests.
You want to click once when you first see the hazard, once again as you approach the hazard, then once again when you reach the hazard. Sometimes you can be too quick for the software, so doing it this way eliminates that factor.
Also remember it's developing hazards you want to spot.

I passed my theory before all that shit came in But I have done it once or twice. From what I remember you just need to spot all the hazards early, so if ne thing looks out of place etc then click, click away! Just keep practicing!

hazard is piece of piss, click any time something changed in the video, a new car/bike enters the frame, literally anything. very rarely will it pull you up for clicking excessively if u do this. I got 60 something i think it was doing this

I just got a 56 I might have this cracked. Will do more later to make sure it wasn't a fluke. Also, thats a good point lash, I was picked up for excessive clicking on one practice clip so I now know what I'll be punished for. And cheers, Fred.

All I can do is repeat what has been said!
Click if you see something new Click if it moves Click if it gets in your way!!!
That's how I got through. I got better with practice so just keep going with it!!

Also remember it's developing hazards you want to spot.
That the key, it's anything that could turn into a hazard, so the cyclist going along, click him as soon as u see him, not when he actually swerves into your path etc
