the more I think about it (based on the timeline involved, which effectively rules out a takeover) the more I expect an announcement that investment has been found, but it is in fact a loan from someone already involved, such as St Modwen. Possibly a rejigging of the web of businesses surrounding the club.
If that is what happens then they will be well wide of the mark if they think it will make people happy. Relieved over our immediate future maybe, but not happy about the future of our club. Only one thing will now resolve that, and it involves a lot of people falling on swords.

The most important thing in all this is that the club still exists i agree one way or another whoever is in charge. We know that the club is run badly, but to see it wind up would be disastrous BUMP! 30th June 2007. Monies owed £900k for CVA Money can not be paid by current board thus meaning we could be wound up. They are the ones who have caused this and only themselves can they blame. How long are we going to have to go on with them in charge not knowing where our club is heading or if bills are going to be paid. Didn't we forget to pay VAT once??? |
