My holiday to Devon was delayed after the portable DVD player fused the car cigarette lighter when the power adapter fell apart. Turns out that the fuse to change is the second to last one checked in a 40 odd fuse fusebox. Thanks for not labelling them Ford.
We are on holiday on the week where the weather is the worst recorded. It has stopped raining this morning
Our accomodation is like colditz (Pontins) - original 1960's decore I'd wager. Single glazed windows are cold in this weather so we have had the heating on. If I'd brought a cat with me I wouldn't be able to swing it...At leat it is better than camping.
I broke my phone screen 'rescuing' my son from the soft play area.
I say rescuing, but the git rescued himself before I got to him. So I felt like a bit of a tit when some 10 year old scottish lad had to tell me how to get out...So many tunnels and rope ladders ,etc..
And my internet connection is a laptop buetoothed to my mobile phone. And after waiting for what seems an eternity do I et any good news on the STFC front. Do I bollocks!
I'm off to trudge slowly over wet sand now....
