Quote from: "Leggett"
oh, and Crozier is the highest paid civil servant in the country at around £1.1m, if the company hits all the targets, he gets a £700k bonus. no wonder we've got no fucking money, we've also got something like 20 of the top 50 highest paid civil servants in the country too. rediculous.

Why not promote a warehouse supervisor to CEO of a billion pound business and pay him £35k a year. Because that will work out just great wont it?

The best people require the best pay to attract and keep them. Crozier seems to have done a good job so far of modernising an arcahic organisation that has far too much union power to be effiecient and competitive in 2007

Its not really about NEED is it?  He applied for a job and got offered it on that pay, same as anyone on here except with more zeros after it. Strickly speaking i dont NEED all that I get paid (not that I get paid loads or anything)- I could make do on less, but is dosnt mean that the extra isnt welcome

And yes it is the same Crozier.
