The question is, who would win in a fight between

Clubber Lang (Mr T) vs Ivan Drago  (the Russian guy from Rocky 4)

Drago would clearly destroy Lang. Rocky annihilates Lang at the end of 3, But even after  the most severe of training montages he only just manages to defeat Drago. That's the logic I'm using anyway.

Very true Ben, but Balboa is older in Rocky 4, and hence may have lost some of his fitness and ability as a fighter as a result.  Then again one may argue that Balboa may improve as a fighter as time passes by.

I'd probably go with Lang on a points verdict

I see your age point, however I think that Rocky IV could beat Rocky III in the ring. Rocky keeps the high agility that Apollo teaches him in III but backs it up by refining his classic raw punching power, which he develops during the most gruelling training montage of all time. He runs up a mountain for fucks sake. Beats running down a beach and swimming.

You've got to factor in the raw emotion Rocky must feel when he sees his friend Apollo die in the ring. Also, I think Rocky wants to show the USSR how ace America is, whereas Lang would care more about his street cred.

So I reckon Drago would beat Lang.

Rocky ended the Cold War single handedly with his  "Everyone can Change" speech at the end.

If it was not for Rocky, we would all be dead and the world would be a nuclear desert.
