I'm not a big fan off the surge of patriotism we get during major sporting events as it is. It seems to very quickly start overlapping with Nationalism. But at least you get a hint of group energy and emotion, something which seems to be lacking when the prawn sandwich brigade converge on Wimbledon every year. It's like a sick plastic parody of real support, and my hatred of it has been embodied into one man.
