So, here it is. The end is nigh. Although which ending we will have is still unknown.
These next 5 days will make or break us. There's just so many different twists this could take yet.
1. Investor found, CVA paid, board remain. 2. Investor found, takes over club, CVA paid, board fuck off. 3. Bill Power & Co take over club, CVA paid, happy days. 4. No investor found, CVA extended, board remain. 5. No investor found, CVA not paid, club gets liquidated, board find rescue package (St Modwen?), board remain. 6. No investor found, CVA not paid, club gets liquidated, alternative rescue package (Bill Power), board fuck off. 7. No investor found, CVA not paid, club gets liquidated, no rescue package, goodnight STFC.
And I suppose there could be an 8. something completely different happens.
I'm just so anxious to know which way this is going to go.
Roll on Friday.

I can't believe players would be signing if we were about to go out of business - they must have something up their sleeve - just hope its not chippenham.....

We need a sweepstake.
The winner gets to buy the club.

Sturrock would continue to operate on a going concern basis though and if the club goes bust then the number of players under contract would make very little difference. I don't think the new signings give much of an indicator, if anything the activity over the last week or 2 might even suggest the league will slap a transfer embargo on us as I'm now fairly sure the moment we overrun the CVA deadline the league will stop us signing players.

Mr BrunelFM blokey I'm guessing then....did he give any thing away with his inside knowledge? If the current board remain though it would just seem to be delaying the inevitable as no business can continue to survive with them at the helm. So here's hoping it is a fresh start.

I'm fed up with all this shit, the only way we will become a normal club again is by Diamond Mike leaving, I can't take another season of boardroom mistrust and never knowing if we are moments from oblivian. If Chippenham enters the equation that will be it for me...

I'm thinking number 1 but with unknown future ramifications (with them hoping that they will be viewed once again as saviours).
I was thinking over the weekend, they've probably run up as much debt in the last 5 years as there was for the 103 trading years before (going by the the most recent balance sheet and assuming the level of losses remaining over the past couple of years).

I reckon everyone will get drunk and someone will remember that spare £2m they put away for a rainy day.
