If he wants to go, let him.

I think Sturrock will attract better players to the CG than Nicho.

He was ok last season, but an ok league two player won't be good enough in league one. If he stayed he'd be a squad player, not first choice.

This is an old story being re-worked. It was a fabrication then too.
It shows just how easily people can be taken in.

He should be signing his Swindon contract on Monday.

Good news.  The story as it seems is fact - an out of contract player at a promoted club draws attention from another club - no surprise there.  STFC have never given the impression they want him to leave, and neither has the player himself, however you can hardly blame him having a cursory glance at what else is on offer.  Once a contract is there to be signed you'd fully expect him so sign it.

I wasn't being taken in, I was just saying that particular story made it sound like he's going. I wasn't commenting on whether I believed it or not.

I'm not saying your son is a bad player at all, I'm just not that bothered whether he stays or goes Shrug

I feel that way about the majority of Town players. If they want to go, let them go. If they want to stay, great. It's all good.

He's a useful squad player that can play many positions. I'll be glad when he signs a new deal, he's been a good servant for us.

. Mine was a rhetorical statement. I might have said "you should not believe everything you read in the papers" ... the "you" being the great unwashed.

stay or go I dont really care.  I think we could sign better, but as a player he has been good for us.  He also has a good head at set pieces and a bloody good left foot

Santini can get up now from falling off his chair.
