To have a bit of fun, lets guess when todays Statement will be released and what it will contain...

My guess : The fans are also to blame for us not being able to pay the CVA because not enough fans have bought season tickets for the coming season, and not enough fans have parted with £10.00 deposits for the home and away shirts, to be released at 5:26pm

'Having alienated everyone from the customer fan base to our own landlords, we now appreciate that there is no realistic proposition of the current board and owners of Swindon Town Football Club being able to return the club to the upper divisions of English football.  And while we're at it, we'll 'fess up to the fact that the 'mystery investor' only ever existed in Mike Bowden's head.

We have, therefore, decided to remove the pre-conditions placed on the NDA agreement with a view to entering in to a dialogue with Bill Power regarding the sale of a controlling stake in the club.'

No statement today on Statement Friday, they can't afford to offend the last three supporters they may have and that is probably an over-estimate. Sad  :?

Yes. Hopefully Bob Holts been mowed down by a North Sea trawler and Mike Diamandis has been eaten by mutant Sardines.

I reckon it'll be along the lines of the council are nasty bullies and the club not understanding what they are saying.

It will be posted at 17:22

From the OS -

"The board of Swindon Town are shocked and dismayed to see Cllr Bluh's comments in the Swindon Advertiser this morning.  Mike Bowden in particular has taken his comments to heart and has now withdrawn Mr Bluh's invitation to his birthday party next week.

It is a shame that it has come to this as with Mr Bluh's attendance confirmed, we had enough for five a side.  Now one side will be a man down and 4 against 5 is never any fun.  We also have to think about the after match swim which Sandy and Willie had spent a lot of time in coming up with appropriate games for the boys and girls to enjoy.

These comments are a cheap shot at trying to spoil Mikey's big day next week.  Hopefully "Maverick" will be able to step into Mr Bluh's boots and save the day and Mikey has been looking forward to his party for weeks.

Until the next time

The board of STFC"

Next Friday's statement will be a lot easier to predict.

I reckon they'll anounce the investment on the 30th June and the club won't be wound up. All hail the board for saving the club with minutes to spare.

Evil Bill Power can sell his shares back to the club at a rate of 1p to £1 if he so wishes  Cheesy

Perhaps they are not naming the potential new investor yet because there will be uproar when we find out who they are and what the caveats are linked to the investment
