This is just speculation etc etc.... But This article in the adver talks about players signing etc and says that the board agreed something. Is this the 50,000 fee? or that an investment is now sorted?

It could read that the board have agreed a fee fopr a player but wont name the player or

The board have agreed a new investement and because of this he needs to play his cards close to his chest before signing players...

FROM THE ADVER...

PAUL Sturrock hopes to land his second signing of the summer in the next few days, but admits the calibre of player arriving at the County Ground will be determined by the level of new investment at the club.

Sturrock, pictured, revealed the Robins' board "agreed to something" at a meeting on Tuesday, but the Town chief is keeping his cards close to his chest on the transfer front.

Could be either, but I thought it meant the 50k fee.

Seems a bit strange we can splash money about and sign players to 3 year contracts etc but not pay the CVA??

Maybe we can....maybe the investment is sorted all bar the shouting and we can go and pay fees.

otherwise, i'd be fairly unhappy if i was a creditor, have been for 5 years, and don't get my money, whilst Plymouth Argyle get it straight away.

Maybe... Perhaps I am being optimistic that an investment has been sorted... If so PLEASE PLEASE Announce it so we can start looking forward to the season and stop worrying about the CVA.

If an investement is sorted you can just see the board being smug coming out saying "See told you it was sorted"

In the same article though Sturrock makes it clear that the "done something" was pretty much a holding thing and that he's still waiting to hear about investment.
