Indeed Dodgers, meant to be the next 'big thing' as a tourist destination amongst well to do Europenas- a friends parents nearly moved out there and got themselves a business.  Beautiful scenary somewhere off the Atlantic cosast of Africa, I think they are developing rapidly but still have a little primative beauty left.

i'd be sceptical about going all inclusive.unless a friend or relative reccomended it to me

I've been all-inclusive to Cuba, Jamaica and Brazil and can thoroughly recommend it, not sure about all-inclusive within Europe though.  Brazil was awesome and no more expensive than an average two-week holiday in Europe, in fact we booked a villa in Minorca in 2005 and by the time we had paid for that (two couples sharing), car hire, flights and food etc. Brazil worked out cheaper!

I have done my searching for the holiday and have now booked an all inclusive in dominican republic 5 * for £1200 quid in the middle of august result  Cool
