I thought they were going to be sent out a few weeks ago but I've had nothing. Incidentally, I don't know Mr Jackson but this truly was a wonderful gesture to a very noble cause that unfortunately most of us have had some experience of. Is Sandy Gray crossing out our names and replacing them with Bill Power?

God knows. Not had mine yet either. Probably a tactic to stop us getting into the AGM.

Any luck Batch? I'd love to know what in hell's name is going on with this. Perhaps it's worth us all having a word with the Adver ...?

I'm sure that Linda is not back but they probably don't know how to use the VM without her though !! I suggest you contact the adver, this is disgusting that it has taken them so long to do something relatively simple

Not yet, she isn't at her desk right now. I'll post back if I get hold of her later.
I don't think there is any need for concern, probably just at the bottom of a very large "to do list"...

FWIW, I spoke to David Jackson about this last week after we were contacted by a couple of fans who'd bought shares through this route who haven't receieved their certificates. He was surprised to hear that people hadn't had their certificates yet but he checked up on it and apparently was told that everyone is listed on the share register, but there's just been a problem issuing the certificates. Hopefully with Sandy now back from holiday that can be resolved - I know David was going to chase on it this week.
As a side note, I think David would be reluctant to see people going to the Adver about it as it may cause embarassment to the Prospect which would be a great shame. On the basis that all too often people just read those kinds of stories quickly and read it as "charity scam" without looking at the details. It would be a real shame if that happened and so inadvertently affected Prospect's fundraising efforts.

Cheers Paul,
I hadn't been able to get hold of her today anyway but I guess this answers it.

You're absolutely right that we shouldn't cast a shadow over a great campaign idea.

Agreed if anything can be attributed to the prospect then that is unfair - they do a great job.

Are we sure they have taken the money as shares or a loan, they seem to be very confused by the difference!
I assume that the share certificates will have to be issued in bulk, at the same time as they issue the share certificate to Bill Power, as I understand he doesnt have one either!

Paul, any news on this? I only ask as I wondered if we, as shareholders, should have had anything official in the post about the accounts - I've had sod all.

The accounts have been "out" in the sense of having been available from Cos House for a week or so now - we ran a piece on the Trust site on them about a week ago. Once the AGM is announced, the Company Secretary should then write to all shareholders inviting them to the AGM and including a copy of the accounts. According to what we and Dave Jackson have been told by Sandy Gray (the Company Secretary) everyone who donated to Prospect in return for STFC shares should be on that list so yes you should get something through the post. Assuming Sandy's telling the truth and/or hasn't cocked it up.
