excellent news, I take it C5 will employ James Richardson to sit in Italian cafe, Gazzetta Dello Sport flopped over his table, capuccino in hand and off he goes talking all things serie a for an hour.  Just how it should be!!

I'm really happy - I used to love watching the coverage when it was on C4.

I used to like Fiorentina when I watched the Italian Football on Channel 4! They had Batistuta up front!

Who was the striker that used to play alongside him, was it Crespo? I am going to buy a Fiorentina strip, wonder if they are still sponsered by 7up?

I love La Viola - Batigol, Di Livio, Morfeo Rui Costa, Luis Oliviera - classic era, all we need is JR in a cafe with a huge ice cream situated behind him and a seies of patronising comments.

I flew over the Olympico on Thursday - awesome looking stadium.  Are Roma and/or Lazio still planning a move to a smaller more english style ground as was mooted a few years ago?
