Letter in todays Adver.
So Bill Power has finally shown why he is so keen to deepen his relationship with STFC – he wants his money out.
The board has revealed that delays in talking with the Trust are not down to them but due to Power refusing to sign the NDA. I have always been suspicious of his motives – why would a QPR fan want to invest in STFC? Why did he leave QPR which is the Club that he loves and supports? There is a lot more to this than meets the eye and his latest media outburst starts to make sense.
The board are absolutely right to be guarded and ensure that any potential investor has the best interests of the club at heart.
We do not want a repeat of the Brady debacle, and any opportunist thinking they can make money out of STFC should be treated with suspicion until they convince the owners that they are sincere and credible.
The onus is on Power to prove his sincerity and funding and at last the truth is coming out. Go back to QPR Mr Power and leave STFC alone.
Lastly, I cannot believe some of the ridiculous views voiced on the forum and the sense of doom and pessimism.
The club have just been promoted, season tickets are up (well done to the board for freezing prices) and we have one of the best managers in the lower divisions (again thanks to the board acting decisively when Wise deserted us).
Stop complaining, start supporting the club and get real.

It's actually Ash's ex's Dad. The lot that sit about row L of the South Stand?........ Me and a few others spent most of last season arguing with them at the best of times about this sort of thing. His ex weren't there this year (due to the BrunelFM job I guess) but the rest of the family had a go at pretty much anyone who said anything against the board |
