My dad has just phoned me to tell me that our tickets for the Muse concert at Wembley hadn't turned up and the reason for that is because the company he bought it from have gone bust and now he is without tickets and £120 which he spent as a birthday present to me down the toilet.

So, instead of being at Wembley on my birthday seeing one of my favourite bands I am going to be scratching my arse at my dad's house on crutches!

However what puts this all into perspective is that my Stepmum's (Who I don't really know that well anyway) treatment for breast cancer isn't going very well at the moment. Even though my dad isn't with her anymore, I still feel sorry for him as he goes round very often and it can't be easy for him.

Sorry about the depressing rant.  :|

sorry to hear about your step-mum.

as for muse, i dont think sunday has sold out yet?

if your old man paid by visa (or mastercard) then he should be able to get his money back for the tickets that didn't turn up, just tell him to get in touch with whoever the card is with.

I am flying back on Sunday so wouldn't be able to go. I'll advise him about the visa/mastercard issue, I would imagine he paid by card.

There are still tickets in level two available on seetickets.com and they are together so you can still go if you want.

Doesn't help the fact the business went bust though which is annoying.

Sorry about the other news as well.

I've used them loads of times and they have always been fine. One of the biggest ticket agencies going.

Well my dad has managed to acquire 2 tickets from somewhere so it's all good! Hope they turn up this time and he gets his £120, imagine buying from a company called tickettout.com (or whatever it was), wally!!

tickettout.com went bust a few weeks ago so it was probably them.

I wouldn't go near a company with that name with a barge-pole!

Glad your Dad got the tickets. I'm really looking forward to going Saturday.
