*goes to read article in Independent*

I read somewhere that MLS was a similar standard to League 1, although I'm not sure how reliable that is

american commentators pronounce his surname as "anyell".

i cant confirm at this point if the commentator in question is related to david pleat.

I'd say the MLS is at the currently at the standard of the Championship - certainly not L1.

It's hard to compare as the MLS is much slower than the Premiership.

The article which happens to praise miglioranzi a bit reckons the mls is mid scottish prem standard or championship level.

Stefani Miglioranzi's Columbus Crew career has been mediocre thus far. He's finding himself in and out of the first XI, the worst team in the MLS so far this season.

His last game was in the 2-2 draw against Toronto (whose number 9 is Danielle Dichio).

But isn't that the way you're supposed to say it?  As in that 's the way a South American would pronounce it??  We pronounce Spanish names/places with an anglicised accent (obviously), doesn't mean we're right.

Like Freddie Ljundberg, my swedish mate spent most of the day taking the piss when I was saying lund-berg, they pronounce it "Yun-berr" or something similar.
