Let's not be silly here guys, neither Bowden or Starnes are stupid men, Bowden didn't get to the position he was in NPower without sometimes engaging his brain, and Starnes I guessing is not daft although he does tow the company line. I wonder if this is why Bowden has been so quiet lately so he does not get embroiled in the latest goings on from SN1 to tar himself with their brush. Starnes on the other hand seems to me to be just towing the company line and doing what he is told by Mikey D so he keeps his job. Also why is he still "acting" CEO after something like 6 months since Mark D left, surely they must have had board meetings to be able to ratify his position...is he keeping the seat warm for someone else ? I'm looking forward to hearing Bob Holt make a public comment in their latest statement sorry ramblings, should be comedy value. Oh and mine's a 99 with the flake and strawberry sauce if Mike B becomes an ice cream man when he leaves stfc.

I think it fair to say that you are right. With one or two exceptions the board are made up of people who are far from stupid, I include Diamandis in that.
But where is the fun in that!
I assumed Starnes would be formally made CEO at the next AGM, unless they re-jig.

WTF is going on, this is getting to be a habit, I leave work 5 o'clock Friday, go up the pub for a couple, go home sleep, wake up and all hell has broken loose, it's like a parallel universe.
What's all this ice cream shit going on about?

How dare people use page 2 of this thread to get away from the serious issues. It's all about the butterscotch sauce

With all the warm weather we have been having lately, I thought I would review one of my favourite ice creams – The Feast.
Price: I tend to buy my feast lollies from either my local garage where they are 70p or from the ice cream man where he sells them for a rip off price of 90p.
Packaging: The Feast comes wrapped in a paper outer covering which is blue and has a picture of the Feast printed on it. The paper is very easy to tear off and I find that it is wise not to leave the lolly in the packaging for too long as it melts and sticks to the packaging as you undo it!
About The Feast Ice Cream: Feast is made by Wall’s. There are various flavours including plain (chocolate) mint and toffee. The original feast (the one I am reviewing) consists of a solid chocolate centre, which is covered in chocolate ice cream. The outside of the lolly consists of a thin layer of chocolate with biscuit bits moulded into it.
What Does It Taste Like? Personally I really do like Feast’s. The contrast of the different textures of chocolate work really well together and I like to eat my lolly layer by layer. I find that Feasts are different from other lollies as they consist of chocolate and ice cream all in one lolly. The outer layer of chocolate is light and crispy and the biscuit bits add variety to this. The ice cream is chocolaty and creamy and finally you are left with a solid lump of chocolate in the middle – personally this is my favourite bit!
Range Of Wall’s Ice Cream: As I mentioned earlier, Feast is produced by Wall’s who currently sell many ice creams including: Magnums, Twister, Solero, Cornetto, Vienneta and hundreds more. You would actually be quite surprised to see a full list of their ice creams as it would appear that they produce nearly all the ones on the market.
The Feast Compared To Other Wall’s Ice Creams : Although the Feast is still one of my favourite ice creams, it is by no means as indulgent as some of the Magnums. I find that the quality of chocolate in the Magnums seems to be higher and could almost pass for Cadbury chocolate but with the feast, the thick chocolate in the middle doesn’t taste as creamy. On the whole though, I think the Feast fits in well with the rest of the range produced by Wall’s.
Summary: This is a classic ice cream which has stood the test of time and is still a firm favourite in my household. It is fairly cheap compared to some other ice creams (such as Magnums etc) and is original compared to other ice creams due to the three different textures within the one lolly.
Summary: A tasty chocolate ice cream that is resonably priced.

I'm glad to see the TEF membership are taking this more seriously now.

my favourite ice lolly is the tangle twister, or twister as it is now known.
this little beauty contains both ice cream and ice lolly elements, and a refreshingly original flavour combination of pineapple and strawberry.

don't get me wrong, i love feasts as much as the next person, but i do find that they melt a bit quicker than they ought to, and they are very messy i concur. i purchased a feast at coate water last saturday afternoon and whilst the weather wasn't exactly scorchio, my feast had nearly melted by the time i'd finished it. at this point, the feast becomes difficult to eat and you end up look quite foolish OR getting a chocolate stain on your blue shirt.
