I have realised that I am back in England the weekend of the England v Israel on 8th September. (for my gran's 85th birthday at the Pear Tree in Purton in case anyone cares!   )

Was thinking about trying to get tickets for the game, I have never been to an England game before, what is the liklehood of me being able to get tickets and if so how do I go about it?

Pretty good. Its only 1 ticket per England member now, so just watch the FA website for the day they go on general sale and then buy on the internet.

I think that you have to go into a ballot to enable you to apply for tickets

What pant's if that is true so techinally if you want a ticket you may not get one, it should be on first come first served basis.

The Mrs keeps saying how she'd like to see an England game was thinking of taking her one day but if it's like this I may not bother.

Anyone know how much England tickets are these days for the "new" Wembley ?

Does anybody know roughly what the away allocation will be for us on the 22nd August? 3,000?

Public Ballott as I understand it:

You need to register as an Endland "FAN" (free) whereby you will be allocated a special number via email.

You use this number to enter a public ballott, where you may or may not get tickets. You may request a number of tickets in the ballott at the same time, however each member of the party needs to be a registered "FAN" with their own "FAN" number.

If you are successful in the ballott you will get all requested ticketsw and will be emailed instructions of how to pay (presumably you not obligated to though).

If you are unsuccessful - tough shit.
---------------

Bit crap if you ask me, just wanted to go in the ballott for 3 tickets. Now I need to create spoof FAN accounts for my mates - I need their DOB & full address from them to do that. It too much of a faff.

Just got email to say got ticket for England V Germany at Wembley on 22nd August.  I'm sure they'll do general sale for all matches too esp this as its only a friendly.  If you don't get your ticket in the ballot time slots on a certain day you lose the guarantee anyway so that ticket has to be sold somewhere somehow!

Tickets start at £30 and top price is £60 according to my email.  I just wanna see that fixture at Wembley to be honest. I wouldn't have bothered with any other friendly mainly for ££££ reasons!

I think so but I doubt more tickets have been requested for this that the stadium holds as its only a friendly, its in the footy season and also is close to the actual Euro qualifiers.
