i wasn't picking up mark devlin on his comments.
what i was getting at was the way it was stated by some that the groundsman was rolled out by the board,etc,etc.
when it seems he was just asked by the adver in the same way that mark devlin was. the posts in response to both mens comments differ somewhat.my post was meant in a lighthearted,jokey way.and its just an observation on my part that provocked my original post.
Devlin immediately came on here and clarified his comments however ensuring no one got the wrong end of the stick......
The club also did this when they said peacock was misquoted though glos.
Where's that? I haven't seen anything to say Peacock was misquoted. The club kicked off about Sturrocks comments but nothing to date regarding Peacock :?
Ha Thats what i meant sorry i was rushing...What im trying to say is when bowden and co say they dont see a problem we are up in arms but when devlin says it he was mis quoted
It was me that saw Bowden at the Speedway though and heard first hand that basically the only thing concerning him was the money. When I revealed on thisis what he had said he got very jittery as it appeared football fans weren't meant to hear his comments.
Bowden is a representative of the board and didn't seem to give a shit about the issues associatiated with the move and didn't seem to care and seems to typify their attitude. That is what really pushed me to despise this board so much seeing first hand the contempt in which they hold our fans amd the way they try to lie. The way he tried to worm his way out of what was said at the Speedway has led me always be 'sceptical' reagarding what they say.
