A bit of a replacement for Evans perhaps? Although Evans did look like he would have grabbed quite a few goals had he stayed fit
I really do hope evans stays  Smiley

I don't think Evans will remain here, my main worry was comments from the medical team (Dick) towards end of season when they said he doesn't seem mentally right.

Reminds me a bit of O'Halloran who was a steady player before long term injury but was never quite right when he came back and ended up being released.

As some players then become more hesitant in tackles and over doing it due to fear of another serious injury, really hope its not the case here but fear it may be.

Easton is a class player so would be well pleased if he joined  Cheesy

I wonder if Pook has been unsuccesful in trying to squeeze a bit more money then.

Evans sounds like a Migz in that case then, as he once said he was struggling with his physical and "mental" fitness.  WTF?

Jeez

Its the close season and 1 or v2 are still on Pook's case.

Perhaps you would like 4 zabooubs in midfield instead?

Hope you're not including me in that Dirk.

I haven't slated Mr Pook for months, thought he did alright second half of the season.

Ive never really slated Pook but he isnt good enough for league one. If he is in the starting XI for our first game of the season I will be dissapointed.

I said on another thread (Can't remember which) that he is the one player out of all of them I would have wanted to keep.

Intelligent passer and a great engine on him. I think if you look at the stats last season there are not many games we won without him in the team. The same goes for the promotion season as well.

Got yourselves a cracking player there

Whats the point of having an engine room in midfield if we're just gonna be whacking the ball out to the wings constantly?

Pook was ordinary in League 2, average at best.  In League 1 in the past as we have seen he is out of his depth.  We don't need passengers next year we need a squad with healthy competition.

I would take Zaboub over Pook any day of the week because when Zaboub performs he can change a game, when Pook performs he barely influences the midfield.

Regardless of whether Pook is any good or not we need more midfielders as Timlin has gone back to Fulham and Weston is being released.

What so we should keep someone just because we need numbers, stupidest idea ever I am sure there are players out of contract at other clubs who could do a better job so why not ship Pook out and get someone better in.
