the strength of feeling against the groundshare is surprising, spoke to a couple of people from swindon today - one who used to be club secretary for supermarine - and they were angrier than me at the thought of rovers groundsharing with us.
with rovers' promotion secured now would be the time to really show a strength of feeling against it, although i'm not entirely sure how we can do that right now. i haven't thought that bit through yet

I am sorry, but my mind still harps back to Glos Robins post about Bowden mouthing off that the deal was going to be signed immenently as long ago as 5 weeks.
The longer this goes on with no talk from SN1 the more worried I get.

If Starnes is busy working out the finances for the mysterious investor, Holt is busy sorting out the Brunel deal and Bowden is allegedly spending his time working on development plans, Gray is busy sorting out our accounts for the next AGM - does this mean the ticket man is in charge of the Rovers ground share issue?

I might start by emailing Brunel. They won't read it out, but nobody will be listening anyway

Maybe we could buy some ad space on Brunel?

Guys this is a don deal- has been now for some time
Expect an announcement later this week/early next week. They will wait till post earlybird to drop this clanger, and if it does go ahead bang goes any ground redevelopment at the CG, which confirms even more so that the club plans are outside of the borough

Maybe we could buy some ad space on Brunel? £1.50 should buy us a whole campaign.

I would suggest we get our own creative team though, otherwise it will end up sounding like a double glazing ad.

The longer this goes on with no talk from SN1 the more worried I get. I still think it is a done deal especially judging how jittery Bowden got when confronted with the facts (as you know only to well Fred ). But I'd still be up for any campaign against it as apart from our board I've not seen anyone in favour of it for ages......even Gerald Phillips has changed his tune now he has seen Rovers fans close up. The blatent lying by Sandy Gray at a residents meeting needs to get some attention in the press at the very least as well.....80% in favour? I think she was getting confused with the number of people who want her and her fellow board members gone!
