Rovers have played at the Memorial Stadium for more than a decade

"In terms of location, the cricket ground would be the best option, but I suspect the cost of conversion would be prohibitive for such a short period of time.
"Then there is Cheltenham, but I can't think of a single advantage over Swindon.
"There's the Recreation Ground in Bath, but I am not sure whether that would be permitted.
"And Forest Green Rovers is on the small side, not easy to get to by public transport, and not yet a licensed Football League ground."
If we hadn't already said 'yes' in principle, why would they (Rovers) bother with Swindon or Cheltenham vote on their official site. |

The police will never let it happen. That with the locals view on the matter will be enough. It will go to one of the new venues that are being looked at. If im wrong come back and laugh, but im 100% they wont be playing here!

At what point did i say they would play at Cheltenham? I dont think they will go there either. There are 2 new venues being looked at. Only time will tell. Im just giving my opinion the same as others. But i just cant ever see it happening. |
