not confident at all. I've resorted to bet a swindon/wrexham double result at 40/1, cos i'm rubbish at betting and always lose. Therefore if my bet is rubbish, hopefully the game will end in swindon's favour

Not sure bout today, serious gamblers have Wrexham down as one of the picks of the day which is always a tad worrying.

THat said I think we may well pull a result out of the hat.

We should win which probably means we won't.

Unsure of the team King will be playing today, although the interview midweek had resonances of our own players being picked ahead of loanees.  Proctor goes back tomorrow and Slabber is out of favour, so I would imagine Parkin and Roberts to lead the line, so we should score.  However, with Ugarte in their side, it will be difficult to prevent them scoring.  Brian Howard could also be in a shout, and would certainly be a game to test him in, but more likely Holmes will start, although he too is due to be returned shortly.

Last season was a boring 1-0, with a great strike from our once influential and invaluable captain, Andy Gurney, obviously sold for nothing to an ordinary Welsh League Two outfit.

I predict an optimistic 4-2 to Swindon Town.  Parkin, Roberts (2) and Howard coming on as a sub for Town, Ugarte and Lleweylen for the sheep shaggers.

Today's team

Steve Book, Sean O'Hanlon, Matt Heywood, Steve Jenkins, David Duke, Sammy Igoe, Stefani Miglioranzi, Grant Smith, Lee Holmes, Sam Parkin, Christian Roberts

Substitutes: Evans, Hewlett, Howard, Ifil, Caton

Rhys dropped for Book, Proctor makes way for Roberts and Ifil switches with Holmes. Nice.

That will be Rhys Evans destroyed then.  Soon Ifil, Howard, Evans and Nicholas will be so alienated we'll have lost them for good, to the place where Gareth Edds is.  Let's hope King brings in some quality next season.

Book certainly deserves a chance but what a sublime idea of Kings.  Drop your goalkeeper after a bad match then sit back and watch his confidence grow.

The chap has been in good form this season to drop him after last week is a tad harsh.  Still a young goalkeeper in the scheme of things I can't really see what he's going to gain by sitting on the bench.

If this precludes to him leaving come the end of the season it will be a travesty I tell ye.

Bloody hell this is appalling.  After last home game you'd have thought the priority would have been not conceding an early goal.  What the bloody hell is wrong with Swindon.  Oh yeh, they're being managed by a clueless idiot.

Fucking Ugarte.

Simon Pieman someone's has a link on the BBC website, but it sometimes they turn it off (legal reasons).  Or you can get STFC world for 19.99 a season...   Cool

You don't want to be listening at the moment.  1-0 and the team riddled with problems.  Book sounds nervous as hell, Roberts hasn't had a touch, Holmes is playing like a 17 yr old.... want me to go on?!

KING OUT For fuck's sake.

2-0 to a relegation threatened side.  I know they've got Ugarte, but one player doesn't make a team, and we should be able to defend against this.  Bye playoffs, bye respectability, bye Sam Parkin and any promising players we've got - and it's only fucking 3.30pm.
