Yup - Rovers, Yeovil (hopefully) and Cheltenham are all short trips.

Crap, at least it takes the shine off of Shitty's promotion.

Unhappy days! Lets hope the Rovers fans are in too good of spirits to stop off on the way home :|

Thank you young Sammy. I had that score at 18-1 with a £5 bet.

Let's look at it this way, the Dongs didn't get to Wembley, didn't get a big pay day, didn't get promotion, and Marti Allen isn't managing in League I, not for a season at least.  The downside is that Rovers got promotion on a run of ten wins.  Can Trollope break up that side? Possibly, our "away" game at Rovers will be policed by Swindon's Old Bill at the CG.

I'd take Rovers up with us over Franchise any day of the week.

Will be interesting to see what happens with the groundshare now! I would hate to be stuck in the SB watching us against Rovers, although tbh I don't expect i would be able to get a ticket for it!

I suppose the good news is the manager will find it hard to change the team too much considering recent form, meaning he may be overconfident/understrength going into next season? Just a thought

Think when I went to reserves at Cheltenham this season it was 44 miles from the ground to my door in Highworth, so it'd be about 42-43 to SN1. Rovers would be about 48-50 I guess?

Don't worry about the groundshare. Even our useless board will have the sense to have an agreement in place that see's us have at least half TCG when we are 'away' to them. I still don't see Rover's getting higher gates than us next season because its a huge expense for there fans for every home game. Would like to think we could have Stratton Bank and The Nationwide Stand when we are 'away'.
