Board Comment

The Board would like to state that today's Swindon Advertiser carries a rather misleading weather report indicating that the weather today has been somewhat variable. This is not the case.

The weather has been perfectly content to work within the substantial budgerigar framework that has been established for the Spring bank holiday weekend. However, this does not preclude the Club from working with global warming to improve weather conditions as much as it possibly can.

Before going on holiday with his family today, Michael Fish did have a previously scheduled meeting with the owners of the Club last night which was very constructive and as expected, concluded with complete agreement on the weather ahead.

In other news, the Board would also like to reinforce the fact that black is indeed white, there is no Consortium, Mike Bowden is a corporate lawyer who used to work at NPower and that the boogeyman will get you if you dare contradict us.

I've heard Andronikou has said the weather isn't a problem, he is God so can just delay the bad weather for an extra year.  In addition a new sun might be arriving which will provide the country with wonderful weather for the next 3 or 4 years.

There will also not be a 10 degree drop in temperature next season should the club re-negotiate the arrangements of the weather.

Incorrect.......The board have yet to comment on this issue.
Mother Nature has however confirmed in an email that the board are yet to contact her for clarification regarding the impact of the weather problems.
