I'm glad he signed. I really do think the best is yet to come.
He now seems to be happy to play on the wing which I don't think he was under Iffy and The Smoking Chimp.
Also, if he went elsewhere, you can bet your bottom dollar he would be absolutely shit hot.

in fact I'm absolutely stunned. same as mate. A year tops, perhaps sturrock thought that if he offered only a year deal he would reject it? If he plays with passion/commitment he'll be ok, otherwise he'll be bit part player next season. |
