You know, looking at that, it isn't actually that far to drive to Saturday home games. Would need to leave on Friday after work and go home early on Sunday mornings, but that is doable I think!

Well I am planning to drive over to visit my old man at some point so maybe not every home game, but 1 in 4 or something!

I recall some years back when living on the South Coast, driving up to Newcastle, for some random reason, I wondered about the equivalent journey travelling south, assuming no water,  it was Luxembourg.  So now with the tunnel, its a trek, but not that ludicrous.

I suppose in some respects it isn't much different from me driving from Edinburgh to Swindon.

I drove back from Ancona, Italy to see the Hereford home game. 1,840km in a Peugout 106 only to witness a 2-1 loss.

(I didn't drive back JUST for the game, but I was moving back an happened to get back on the Friday  before the game)

Start off 12 miles north of Brighton, via a village near Abingdon, then back down the a420. Fucked if I can work it out. 2 and 3/4hrs?

EDIT: Ooops. Don't know what it is in actual miles.
