Wasn't this inevitable?  Once Swindon were ahead six points with two games to go, with a wide gap in goal difference, wouldn't any sensible manager have looked at the bookies odds of 1/60 against Swindon going up, and then started to prepare for the play-offs.  Instead, Dongs went all out with Allen making them work harder.  Players with minor injuries should have been rested, fringe players should have been given a run out to get match fit.  Two weeks of relaxation could have made a difference.  Shrewsbury got it right.  Now let's hope that Bristol Rovers actually reflected Lincoln's recent relegation form, and that they think they are better than they really are.  Come on Shrewsbury.

I couldn't care less who goes up now.

The main thing is that the Dongs have stayed down. Hopefully they will now implode.

Really though... He's been shite most of the season. He's just found the right time to find form.

Very wise words. Thats why Allen has managed Brentford and failed twice and could of gone elsewhere but went to Dongs and fucked it up there as well. Cunts the lot of em.
