As a trust member & fan of 30+ years, albeit a 'non attender' due to geographical constraints. I fear that the fans consortium efforts are doomed to failure - the reason will not be the quantum/quality of the offer but the personal abuse and vitriol directed at the various board members. They may well be lying, theiving, dickheads - but if I was in their position, the last thing I would want to do is to be associated in any way with the perpetrators of these insults, who I am sure they regards as a minor distraction at the end of the day, as borne out by their recent press releases.
I sincerely hope I am wrong and that Bill get's his chance - but don't hold your breathe !!!!!!

One thing I've learnt over the past twenty years is that don't take anything STFC for granted, don't assume anything, and certainly don't expect a fat lady to ever sing!

There's been a considerable amount of that, granted, from individual fans, some of whom support the Fans' Consortium effort. But there certainly hasn't from the Consortium itself.
