Ben - you are making too much sense in this thread. Frankly, I'm worried. Should I be concerned?

Ben - you are making too much sense in this thread. Frankly, I'm worried. Should I be concerned? I'm tired to be honest. I'm sure you can all wait until tomorrow to get the votes/discussion outcomes. The me and sonic in agreement thing was about a point I made about the ground share.

The me and sonic in agreement thing was about a point I made about the ground share. I'm not worried about that, more the coherent and valid points ref ground share. You are either uber pissed or utterly sober. Crazy days (in your own words)

I automatically read it as I wasn't making any sense. Crazy Days. Cheers for the apparent vote of confidence.
I've said my bit and I think it's probably best to leave it until tomorrow now....
A) I've said all I want to say at the moment.
B) The trust meeting started over 7 hours ago. Enough is enough.
C) I just found out that disc 2 in the Blues Brothers DVD I bought has some sort of extended version.
Word.

Why not upgrade said Blue Brothers to DVD. HMV had it in their sale, I think it was the ultimate edition 2 discer FB has.
Of course you can get the Blues Brothers/BB 2000 combo DVD - a class film and a cup coaster in one handy pack. BB 2000 was awful, music aside.

Sonic having a shouting match after agreeing with a point I made (cheers babe). you were right though. If the groundshare goes ahead, it would be truly idiotic to tar ALL Rovers fans with the same brush as those responsible for the incident at the Inn on the Green; not only does it infer that football fan=hooligan but it will inveitably lead to more aggro between the two sets of fans which will only build over time so instead of a minority of people intent on running riot, you've got a massive potential flash point. This is what you posted on the trust site sonic :-- QUOTE Desire to help a fellow football club - we may need a favour ourselves one day . Exactly right , its good to help another club , we might need help one day . Any club that doesn't have neanderthal fans that attack women and children are quite welcome. Rovers aren't.

Yes Dean, but I think sonic's saying if it's a done deal then it's worth trying to improve relations to weed out the neanderthal fans

indeed, just because I'm against the idea doesn't mean that I consider all Rovers fans scum. No doubt the vast majority of their fans are perfectly reasonable but it's the minority that worries me. Should the unthinkable happen, then there's no point being hostile and unwelcoming to all of their fans as it will only cause hassle for everyone.

Totally agree sonic, alas in cases like this that tiny majority could ruin it for everyone -and IMHO there are several other compelling reasons hooliganism aside for it not to happen, but if it does (and the powers that be have a head in the sand moment) hostility to all Rovers fans would do no good at all, I honestly expect the scenario to be that they would be generally unwelcome in the vast majority of pubs anyhow, but for the ordinary decent gashead we need to try an make it as bearable as possible for all concerned.
