Mrs JA doesn't read this, I wouldn't want her hanging about with you bunch of reprobates!!

I'll still go for the Irn Bru though, I love the stuff!!  Biggest selling soft drink in Scotland.  I believe Scotland is the only country in the western world that Coca-Cola or Pepsi isn't the number one selling soft drink.

I think to class Scotland as part of the Western World is stretching a point Wink

Recently went on holiday to Florida with his parents, lovely chap, gave my dad an autograph.  He is still short, and playing for Kingstonian.

More importantly, I'd like to know how Socrates got on at.... wherever he was.  Anyone?  Reg?!   Cheesy

Socrates couldn't put up with the cold.   According to the BBC Bebeto or Romario (can't rmember which one) may be playing for them next season.

Yep......Garforth Town....not as Johno posted Gasforth Town.....although would have made a good story line for the Thin Bue Line.

Think it lasted for about 30 mins of wheezing and lard wobbling.....they've signed Romario now.

There's a piece about Socrates in this month's 4-4-2, quite interesting.

How he got a 3 year pro contract i'll never know. Maybe his mum did Kingy a few favours Wink
Fans cheered him but booed Hewlett and Duke. Bizarre.
Pook, who was a much better footballer never had the crowd support Young Alan Young(cringe) did.
