I think he is being a bit Aaron Brown optomistic in thinking he'll get a new contract.

Nothing against Shakes though, his talent may be questionable but he always gave 100% on the pitch. You can't ask more than that.

of course he wants to stay.but a player out of his depth in the basement league, should be shown the door.there will be kids from championship-prem clubs getting released that will be far better than him.

Players who can do a average job at left wing,right back back and right wing are worth keeping in my opinion.He is not a great player granted but he wont be on loads and is worth keeping imo

Whats the point in keeping shakes he is not a good winger all he has is pace. He cant cross a ball which is one of the most important jobs to do, supply balls for the strikers. whever they get on the end of them or not is a different matter. Waste of wages if he keeps him Beers
