I know its maybe a little too soon to start the moaning off again after the greatness of Saturday, but I wonder how long issues off the field will drag on.Will there actually be an end to it ?
My first concern is what to do about renewing my season ticket.
I would love BP to come on the radio/tv this week and say " no panic folks, just let me cross the t's and dot the i's then then we're in command. But he's not is he.So do I just take the early bird option on my ticket or wait, and wait.......until I miss that price and it goes up.Or do i hope that the trust say hold on guys,we have an account where people can store their cash until the board have gone and then the cash will go to the club. Will they honour the early bird price? So many questions at the moment but cant be bothered to write them all down, but it does seem to snowball somewhat as each question asked will have at least 2 answers, depending who is in the hot seat.Oh well ! back to closing my eyes again picturing those fine moments from Saturday all over again.Still makes smile and long may it continue.

Don't buy a ST is my advice. The more money the current board have the greater power they have. I'd like to think that any new Board coming in would generate some sort of 'promotional' activity on tempting new ST holders, perhaps extending the early bird discount.

It's a timescale thing though I'm afraid - I'm certain discounts could be passed on however the new board look highly unlikely not to be in during the close season to back this up - it's taken 8 months just to get an NDA organised if the takeover is done and dusted within the next two months I'd be hugely surprised unkless a huge sea change happens in the boardroom IMHO.

That depends upon weather they like what's offered.
Once the NDA is signed (if it ever is!), then due dilligence follows ie the books are examined. Once thta's done a formal offer can be made which is either accepted or rejected.
Regarding a season ticket boycott a decision needs to be made sooner rather than later.  Hopefully by next weeks TRUST meeting things will be clearer.

Can see us having a repeat of last seasons struggle if they are still here. They have proved they cannot take the club any further

some people will look on promotion as a step forward.i'm sure the board will use it as a basis for any forthcoming arguements

I have to be honest - the whole political saga at the club is driving me up the wall and in a way id like to forget about it completely. Its the potential 10 point deduction that worries me ...

It's driving me up the wall too... because the board are grabbing as much as they can now.
BUT, it won't go away. TBH I would swap promotion for the takeover given a choice. Reason is I believe without the consortium we will be relegated next season any way.

It's a good job then that the mismanagement of the club for many years and the potential for a 10-pt deduction are in no way linked so that you can compartmentalise them like that  :?

What a stupid thing to say.

The last time we were in league 1, we were there for quite a few years, (9?) 3 (?) of which were under the current regime.

The long term stability of the club hinges on further investment, hopefully as a result of the Consortium taking over,  or, if that doesn't happen, from other investors. But to declare we'll definitely go down if the Consortium doesn't get in is total bollocks.

Fucking doom merchant.
