I was going to go for Rocky's driving montage just after Apollo dies in Rocky 4. However I think it's pipped to the post by the start of Rocky 3.

It begins with rocky winning loads of fights but you see Mr. T looking angry in the crowd. Then it changes to Mr. T beating the crap out of everyone and shouting about how he wants to fight Balboa, whilst it shows Rocky just living up the high life. Set's up the film superbly.
