How to stop those pesky multiple posts.

A lot of the time when you press submit and nothing happens it's because it's waiting for the next screen to load, you know the one where it says go back to message, proceed to back to forum or whatever. Clicking submit again reposts your message and you can end up with mega multiple posts.

If you just got back to the main forum page or the the forum section you were in by clicking the links most the time your post will be there.

If it's a long essay then select it all and go edit -> copy, or right click, or ctrl+c that way you can just paste it back in and try again.

That's been working for me anyway. Presume it'll work for everyone else.

Or you can do as Ben says and if it hasn't worked I click the back button and the writing is still there waiting to be a posted.

oh yeah, I forgot the back button saves what you've written. Ace.
