I counted the seats left - we have about 500 in the Nationwide, 600 in the Arkells and about 170 left in the Town end - is that about 10000 of us?

Why the fuck are we giving Walsall extra tickets- when so much hinges on it and our own fans would fill the seats.
Typical of this clueless board, still the play offs would mean extra payout for them....

In the initial message on the walsall site it said they already had sold 3500. If they have 600 more thats 4100? Surely that has to be wrong!!! If they get more than the corner of the arkells and the bank i will not be happy!
I really hope Walsall dont win the title at our ground!!! if they do then thats pure greed on our boards part.i doubt it in all honesty.we will sell out anyway I agree with the greed bit, but if the Swindon fans don't come out most weeks, they have only got themselves to blame. I have my ticket

Walsall struggle to get 5-6k at their home matches, despite being top of the league for most of the season... and now they want around 4k at our ground.
Well, like most of the comments on here, they can get stuffed.

I counted the seats left - we have about 500 in the Nationwide, 600 in the Arkells and about 170 left in the Town end - is that about 10000 of us? The facts seem to be: 15,728 County Ground Capacity ------------------------------------------- 3,150 Sold to Walsall 1,270 Swindon Tickets remaining ------------------------------------------- 11,308 Sold to Swindon Assuming approx. 500 seats are unavailable for sale (to separate supporters in the Arkels stand), that's almost 11,000 Swindon fans already sold. I am sure the full allocation will go before the end of the week. Come on Swindon !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Reply from Lambert, good lad: Hello Martin The total number of tickets that Walsall have been allocated (including the extra 600) is 3369. They have the Stratton Bank and the usual away area of the Ark ells - NOT any extra areas that are normally for home supporters. We are of course aware of the overwhelming demand for tickets from STFC supporters. The 600 extra Walsall tix are all on the Stratton Bank - obviously for security reasons it wouldn't work having two sets of fans on the Stratton Bank. I hope that makes sense and clears up any confusion... Ben Lambert

To be fair Ben Lambert is my STFC employee of the year, closely followed by the scottish ticket office bloke. Not sure who third would be though.
