I can confirm that I arrived home safe and well (thanks Sam and Nickie)

Yes I am still angry, scenes like we witnessed have no place on football.

I text Mike Bowden earlier, asking him if he had heard about the poor people that got attacked.

That it should open their eyes about the ground share.

If the ground share goes ahead then they can all go fuck themselves as far as I'm concerned. end of

We have royally and truly fucked this up !

Ha ha.

Me and Alan had a good laugh in the Bishops Tavern before the game.

Yeah you did didn't you,at my expense

As for yesterday makes me feel sick the thought of innocent football fans getting attacked like that,no way can this ground share go ahead now it would be absloute madness.

The Inn on the Green probably got targeted because as we turned up there a Rovers fan had just been bottled out the front. He was missing about half his head, poor fucker  :?

Someone was fairly convinced that someone in a black top in the beer garden at the Inn on the Green had 'put a call in' to get them down there

I was in a black top and on my phone, and stuck my head out of the door about 5 mins before it all kicked off to try and find a table, then went back in.............maybe they mistook me??

I agree with all the posts that this was shocking. Another thing was after the game they just let all the rovers and swindon fans walk together. We had a long treck to the train station and could have been attacked at any point with no police about. What a waste a of money the police were!!!

Regarding the standing up and swearing at football. Seriously are you having a laugh? What do you expect at a rovers v swindon match especially with the importance of it. Im sorry if you dont like it, then dont go. If i wanna stand up and call the ref a cunt i will! I agree with everything you said Ralphy.............I now know who you are  Cool

Has Bowden responded yet Fred? Just watched the htv evening news and there was no mention of any trouble. Perhaps someone should flag this up to Points West AND Htv news. I would, but i wasnt there so it needs someone who WAS there to do it.
