i see he's played the last couple of games for macclesfield. in fact a macclesfield fan has posted on myonlyswindon saying he's been very good and asking if they can keep him, he obviously knows that sturrock reads the message boards.

alan hansen was also quoted as describing his contributions in the following one word sentences: "pace. vision. strength. flair. magnificent."

Ive always thought he had potential. But he isnt good enough for league one.

I hope he does get a permanent contract and good luck to him. Be nice to see a few more youth players suceed. Too many of them drift off to supermarine or chippenham town.

I firmly believe if Sturrock was serious about keeping Holgate he wouldnt be out on loan.
