......because they have too much to pay out and simply cannot afford to pay it.

They will have to pay out £250,000 in bonuses to the players for gaining promotion (providing we gain promotion but we are almost there).

They also have to pay out £900,000 for the CVA and they owe Bill Power £1.2M.

In total that is £2.35M, no way have they got that kind of money....I think they will just dump all these bills on Bill Power but i'm sure it wouldn't bother him too much.

Also bearing in mind that if the board renegotiated the CVA that could cost us a 10 point deduction for the start of next season and that would cause riots among the fans so i don't really see how they can renegotitate it if it's going to cost us 10 points which would make it a big struggle next season.

Does anyone else agree with this?

Fingers crossed it will all get on top of them soon.

If this 10 point thing is the nail in the coffin for this board then I think it will prove that the FA was right to introduce it.

Otherwise you get these crappy boards like our own who are just able to limp on forever.

One way or another, i hope this is all sorted by mid June for Sturrocks sake really

He will want to know his transfer and wage budget to bring in new players.  One of the worse case scernarios would be Power taking control in August, and Sturrock not being able to bring in new faces with the extra transfer funds he may recieve.

Get is sorted asap

I actually thought that their most recent statement regarding the Trust's press release seemed almost reasonable and like they wanted to talk?

Perhaps I am just being lured into thinking they are reasonable.

I sincerely hope that if the board cannot pay the CVA in full (which we know they cannot) then they sell to the consortium, It would not be a good idea to start next season on -10 points, you only have to look at rotherham this season to know that!
