He was in contention to play right back yesterday but didn't even make the bench, it's obvious that he isn't going to be here next season.

Westwood played very well at right back and i would sign him permanently.

He's still too raw a talent. If we could harness that pace and teach him to cross on the run he'd be deadly. At the very least I had hoped he'd become an impact sub at this stage.

I'm not sure I'd shelve him just yet though. Give him a full pre-season under Luggy and a year in the last chance saloon.

I think he's had his chances, i think he's finished, IMO sturrock will get rid of brown, shakes, brownlie, weston, evans (as he's too injury prone) noubissie, wells and maybe even roberts.

Problem with Westwood at right back was that he refused to go over the half way line. Jack Smith often overlaps on the right and gets crosses in, Westwood just doesn't have the attacking ability, or will power to do that. Roberts got no support from Westwood in an attacking sense yesterday, so I wouldn't see him as a regular right back.

I agree about westwood....however he won alot of important headers and made some good tackles, best suited at centre back, obviously only play him at right back as cover if nessecary like yesterday but i would sign him permanently and i think sturrock will take him in the summer.

I thought roberts was abit like a yoyo yesterday he made some good runs and took on players but quite a few times he tried to do too much instead of playing it simple and he fluffed alot of crosses...Zaaboub was good, he took on players and made 3 or 4 great crosses, he tried to be a bit too clever at times as well but he has quality, he's too good for league two...

I see what you did there Cool

I like Shakes for his effort, dancing skills and generally pleasant demeanour. Sadly he's not a particularly good footballer, so I won't be sad to lose him

Hope you are wrong about Evans and he stays.

As for Shakes and Brown, Halleulujah!

With Weston its up to him, but I suspect he is a gonner.

As he's only on a one-year contract there will be no fee, unless PS offers him an improved contract which he then turns down.

It'll be decided by tribunal, shirley, if a club chooses to offer Weston a contract, as he's under 23.
