Yep i agree. We havent had a decent player on loan (except Brezovan) since King left. I hated the guy but thats the one good thing i will say about him is that he brought in some decent loanees.

grimes does look a tidy player, be nice to see him given at least half a game before the end of the season to see more of him.

from what i saw today he was quite strong for his size and was very aware of the play.

scored an excellent header and came back to set a few chances up.

he did all he could i think.

interesting that he was substituted about 25 minutes from the end

Apart from being highly rated at Man Citeh (the views of Citeh fans who go to reserve games) and scoring quite a few for their reserve side, yes.

He need's more of a chance though.

I meant for Swindon. No offence, but Slabber was supposed to be decent and he was crap.

Now I'm not saying Grimes is anything like Slabber, but you can see why I would be thinking that a season long loan on the basis of a reputation and one good reserve performance may be a little hasty

He did bring in some decent players on loan. He brought in some right crap on loan as well though (Slabber, Paddy Collins, Colin Heath etc)
